Introduction to ArcGIS for E&P Professionals

This 2-day course covers the concepts of GIS and spatial data and progresses through to making the most of ArcGIS software in the upstream oil and gas business. An extra day can be arranged to cover more specific ArcGIS tasks, on the basis of your specific needs. The course can be tailored to support the foundations of a successful introduction of GIS into your organization.

Advanced ArcGIS for E&P professionals

For those already familiar with ArcGIS, we have designed the 2-day course “Advanced ArcGIS for E&P professionals”. This course covers the more advanced features including spatial analysis, editing and geoprocessing.

All training courses are 100% hands-on and allow students to work through exercises using ArcGIS Desktop during the classroom instruction and in scenarios common to the upstream oil and gas industry. We will download information  for use in ArcGIS, export data to other common formats and work with Northwest Europe oil and gas data to produce usable maps and projects. In addition, there is class time devoted to working through the student’s workflows and students are encouraged to bring examples of how they wish to use the software in their work.
